The Painting Manager is responsible for overseeing all painting activities, including planning, supervising, and executing painting projects to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with safety and company standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team of painting operators/Helpers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise all painting activities of the plant.
- Have an experience in shade matching, Viscosity and DFT in paint shop
- Candidates preferably from sheet metal industry.
- Assign work schedules and monitor daily tasks as per container plan.
- Inspect surfaces and ensure proper preparation, coating, and finishing according to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during all painting operations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand requirements and provide updates.
- Manage inventory of paints, coatings, tools, and equipment; raise requisitions as needed.
- Train and guide painting staff in techniques, use of equipment, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks and approve completed work before handover.
- Maintain records of projects, costs, materials used, and manpower allocation.
- Address and resolve technical issues, defects, or complaints related to painting works.
- Experience in solvent and water base is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
