About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead CSR fundraising and business development initiatives by building meaningful corporate partnerships and identifying sustainable growth opportunities. The role requires a strong understanding of the social sector, corporate CSR frameworks, donor engagement, and proposal development.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate social impact initiatives into compelling corporate partnership opportunities aligned with ESG priorities and Schedule VII compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and map potential CSR donors, corporate partners, foundations, and institutional funding opportunities.
- Conduct market research on CSR trends, ESG priorities, donor landscapes, and sector-specific opportunities.
- Develop strategies for corporate engagement, partnership expansion, and long-term donor retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate stakeholders, CSR teams, and strategic partners.
Proposal Writing & Strategic Documentation
- Draft high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, partnership decks, and fundraising pitches tailored to corporate CSR objectives.
- Align proposals with Schedule VII of the Companies Act and corporate ESG goals.
- Develop logical frameworks, impact narratives, project strategies, and measurable outcomes for funding proposals.
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data, impact stories, implementation plans, and budgets for proposal development.
Research, Data & Budgeting
- Conduct baseline studies, needs assessments, and field research to support project planning and donor requirements.
- Analyze program data, community impact metrics, and financial projections for reporting and presentations.
- Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, utilization tracking, and funding allocation planning.
- Maintain donor databases, proposal trackers, and reporting systems to ensure organized pipeline management.
Corporate Pitching & Reporting
- Design impactful PowerPoint presentations and strategic pitch decks for corporate meetings and stakeholder engagement.
- Support leadership during corporate presentations, fundraising discussions, and partnership meetings.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MBA, Social Work, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 4–6 years of experience in CSR partnerships, business development, fundraising, or proposal writing within NGOs, social enterprises, or development organizations.
- Strong understanding of Indian CSR regulations, Schedule VII, and corporate compliance frameworks.
- Experience in corporate fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic partnership building will be preferred.
