Job Summary
Blue Jersey Garments is looking for an experienced Industrial Engineering (IE) Manager to lead our Industrial Engineering team and drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our garment manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Industrial Engineering department and manage IE activities across production.
- Conduct SAM studies, time & motion studies, and line balancing.
- Improve production efficiency, productivity, and operator utilization.
- Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan manpower requirements and optimize workforce allocation.
- Monitor production KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and HR teams to achieve production targets.
- Train and mentor the IE team and production supervisors.
- Ensure implementation of lean manufacturing and best industrial engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile, Garment, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of Industrial Engineering experience in the garment manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GSD, SAM, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling multiple production lines and large manufacturing teams is preferred.
