We are seeking a commercially sharp, self-driven Business Development Executive with deep expertise in specialty ingredients sales to the Fabric Care and Fabric Wash industry across South East Asia. This is a pure hunter role — designed for someone who already has established buyer relationships with formulators, contract manufacturers, and brand owners in the FMCG / Home Care space, and is ready to hit the ground running from Day 1.
You will own new business development for our portfolio of specialty ingredients — including specialty fragrances and fragrance systems — targeting detergent manufacturers, fabric softener producers, fabric ironing brands, laundry care brands, b2b horeca fabric wash and care and their contract manufacturing partners across the region.

Required Qualifications & Experience
▸ 5–6+ years of B2B sales experience specifically in specialty chemicals / ingredients — with demonstrable exposure to Fabric Care, Laundry, or broader Home Care applications
▸ Proven track record of new business acquisition and consistent quota achievement in a hunter-led sales role
▸ Active, maintained relationships with buyers, R&D leads, or procurement teams at fabric care manufacturers, detergent brands, or FMCG companies across one or more SEA markets — able to convert network to pipeline immediately
▸ Strong technical fluency in Fabric Care formulation ingredients: surfactants (anionic, nonionic, amphoteric), enzymes, builders, chelants, OBAs, silicones, or fragrance systems
▸ Solid understanding of the Fabric Care product value chain: raw material suppliers → ingredient distributors → formulators → brand owners → contract manufacturers
▸ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; confident presenting to both R&D and commercial stakeholders
▸ Business-level English is essential; proficiency in a regional language (Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino) is a strong advantage
▸ Willingness to travel across the SEA region — estimated 50–70% travel
Preferred Qualifications
▸ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related technical field; an MBA or commercial qualification is a plus
▸ Experience working with a multinational specialty chemical company, ingredient distributor, or FMCG ingredient supplier
▸ Familiarity with sustainability and green chemistry trends in SEA Fabric Care (e.g., plant-derived surfactants, biodegradable builders, reduced-phosphate formulations)
▸ Knowledge of key regulatory frameworks for Home Care ingredients in SEA markets (ASEAN cosmetic/chemical regulations, Thailand FDA, Indonesia BPOM, etc.)
▸ Existing relationships with private label detergent producers or institutional laundry solution providers is a bonus
▸ Exposure to e-commerce-driven or DTC home care brands emerging across SEA
