Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of retail store fit-out projects across multiple locations. The role will focus on ensuring timely store launches through effective coordination of site execution, vendors, contractors, budgets, and quality standards.
Project Execution & Coordination
- Manage day-to-day execution of retail store fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and store launch timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure smooth project progress.
Site Management & Quality Control
- Oversee civil, interior, MEP, joinery, flooring, ceiling, and finishing works.
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and brand standards.
- Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely closure of punch points.
- Support project handover and store opening readiness.
Vendor & Cost Management
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance, material availability, and execution timelines.
- Track project budgets, billing, certifications, and cost reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain project documentation, BOQs, approvals, and progress reports.
- Provide regular project updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Desired Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in Retail Fit-outs, Store Development, Commercial Interiors, Hospitality, QSR, Jewellery Retail, or Multi-site Rollout Projects.
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution, BOQs, vendor management, MEP coordination, and project scheduling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Background: Retail Expansion, Store Rollout, Luxury Retail, Jewellery Retail, QSR, Hospitality, or Commercial Interior Projects.
Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
