Job Description
The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the store operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of lithium battery raw materials, components, and finished goods. The role ensures proper stock control, safety compliance, and accurate documentation in accordance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Maintain proper records of raw materials, battery cells, chemicals, components, and finished EV batteries.
Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum inventory levels.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
2. Material Receiving
Receive materials from vendors and verify quantity and quality with purchase orders.
Coordinate with Quality Control team for inspection of lithium battery materials.
3. Material Issuance
Issue materials to the production department as per approved requisition.
Maintain proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock register.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain store records, inventory reports, and stock registers.
Update stock details in ERP / Excel system.
Submit daily stock and consumption reports to management.
5. Safety & Compliance
Ensure safe storage of lithium battery cells and chemicals.
Follow fire safety and hazardous material handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of store materials.
6. Coordination
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments.
Assist in audit and stock reconciliation.
Required Skills
Knowledge of store management and inventory control
Understanding of GRN, inward/outward register, and stock management
Basic knowledge of MS Excel or ERP systems
Knowledge of safety procedures for battery materials
Qualification
Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field
Experience
2–5 years experience in store management
Preferably from EV, battery manufacturing, electronics, or manufacturing industry
