Placement Head

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Placement Head to lead our Corporate Relations and Placement Department. The ideal candidate should have strong industry connections, experience in campus placements, and the ability to generate quality job opportunities for students across Banking, BFSI sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute placement strategies to achieve monthly and annual placement targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with Banks, corporate organizations.
- Generate new employer tie-ups for internships and full-time hiring.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, walk-in interviews, and hiring events.
- Coordinate with the Training and Academic teams to ensure students are industry-ready.
- Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, and career planning.
- Track student placement status and maintain accurate placement records.
- Lead and mentor the placement team to achieve departmental goals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly placement reports for management.
- Ensure high recruiter satisfaction and repeat hiring partnerships.
Required Skills
- Strong corporate networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or campus placements.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
- Ability to work with placement targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, MBA, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Recruitment.
- Experience in the Education, Training, BFSI, or Skill Development sector will be preferred.
Preferred Candidates
- Candidates with an existing network of HR professionals and recruiters.
- Experience in Banking, BFSI, EdTech, or Skill Development placements.
- Proven track record of achieving placement targets.
