Livanta Group is hiring a Junior / Resident Civil Site Engineer for the execution of two plotted-layout development projects near Koppal, Karnataka.
Mandatory language requirement: Fluency in spoken Kannada is essential, as the role involves daily coordination with local labour, contractors, vendors and site teams in Koppal. Applications from candidates who cannot communicate professionally in Kannada will not be considered.
The selected engineer will work under an experienced Senior Site Lead and take day-to-day responsibility for site execution, contractor supervision, levels, measurements, quality checks and reporting.
Project Scope
The work includes:
- Site grading and earthwork
- Storm-water drains
- Water pipelines
- UGD works
- Road subgrade, GSB and WMM
- RCC roads
- Electrical sleeves and street-lighting works
- Compound walls
- Plot entries
- Park and landscaping works
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors, labour and machinery at site
- Read and execute approved drawings
- Use an auto level and maintain level records
- Check road formation levels, drain inverts and pipeline levels
- Plan next-day labour, machinery and material requirements
- Monitor earthwork, drains, pipelines, GSB, WMM and RCC works
- Check line, level, thickness, compaction and workmanship
- Take joint measurements and calculate quantities
- Assist in checking contractor bills
- Prepare daily progress reports with photographs and measurable quantities
- Maintain level books, measurement records, material registers and test reports
- Coordinate with the Senior Site Lead, surveyor, contractors and testing agencies
- Stop defective work and immediately report deviations
- Ensure approved drawings, specifications and construction sequences are followed
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of practical site-execution experience
- Experience in plotted layouts, roads, drainage, pipelines or external infrastructure preferred
- Must be able to independently operate an auto level
- Basic knowledge of road works, including subgrade, GSB, WMM and RCC
- Understanding of drain invert levels and underground pipelines
- Ability to calculate basic quantities and take measurements
- Ability to prepare daily site reports
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and AutoCAD
- Kannada-speaking candidates only
- Must be willing to work full-time at the project site in Koppal
- Immediate or early joiners preferred
Candidates with experience limited only to interiors, finishing or building supervision may not be suitable.
Salary
₹30,000–₹45,000 per month
Salary will depend on practical competence, relevant experience, current compensation and interview performance.
Basic accommodation may be provided for suitable relocated candidates.
