-
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical, electronic, and power electronics failures across controllers, EV electronics, and embedded systems.
-
Perform failure reproduction, validation, and effectiveness checks to confirm corrective and preventive actions.
-
Analyze failures related to power devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs), gate drivers, passive components, thermal interfaces, and PCB layouts.
-
Apply application-level understanding of electronics and power electronics behavior under real operating conditions such as voltage variation, current loading, thermal stress, EMI/EMC, and environmental exposure.
-
Perform electrical and power electronics measurements using oscilloscopes and associated probes to capture voltage, current, switching, noise, and transient behavior.
-
Support analysis related to SMT, THT, solder integrity, BGA components, and high-current assemblies.
-
Lead investigations involving ESD control, moisture-sensitive devices (MSD), solder joint reliability, and electronics traceability.
-
Define and review electrical, functional, and power validation test strategies (AOI, ICT, functional testing, X-ray, BGA inspection).
-
Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing (EMS), Suppliers, and Customers to converge on technically sound solutions.
-
Support customer audits and escalations with data-backed RCA, validation evidence, and application-level explanations.
