Position Summary
The Technical Supervisor (QC) ensures that all incoming raw materials and finished ice cream products meet rigorous technical, regulatory, and formulation standards. This role focuses heavily on ingredient compliance and dairy science.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingredient Verification: Audit and verify that all product ingredients used in production match the exact specifications and percentages outlined in the printed master formulation list.
- Raw Material Inspection: Inspect and test incoming raw materials (milk solids, fats, stabilizers, emulsifiers, flavors, and inclusions) for quality, freshness, and compliance before releasing them to the production floor.
- Dairy Tech Compliance: Apply dairy technology principles to monitor mix standardization, pasteurization efficiency, aging, and freezing technicalities.
- Documentation: Maintain precise logs of batch testing, raw material COAs (Certificates of Analysis), and deviations.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or a closely related science.
- 2–4 years of QC experience within a dairy or ice cream manufacturing environment.
