Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Chartered Accountant with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience to join its Corporate Finance & Accounts team at the Head Office. The incumbent will be responsible for corporate accounting, financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, audit coordination, financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across the organization.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a corporate environment, preferably within manufacturing, steel, mining, infrastructure, or power sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Review and monitor General Ledger, Trial Balance, and period-end closing activities.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closure.
- Prepare schedules for statutory reporting and Board reporting.
- Support consolidation of financial statements across business units and subsidiaries.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, TDS provisions, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in handling assessments, notices, and statutory correspondence.
Audit & Internal Financial Controls
- Coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, and Cost Audit.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate closure of audit observations and implementation of recommendations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and corporate governance practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
MIS & Financial Analysis
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for senior management.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, and key business metrics.
- Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Support preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts.
- Develop management dashboards and analytical reports for decision-making.
Treasury & Banking Support
- Assist in cash flow planning and fund management.
- Coordinate with banks for working capital, term loans, and banking documentation.
- Monitor banking transactions, reconciliations, and fund utilization.
- Support treasury operations and financial risk management activities.
Corporate Finance & Business Support
- Support financial due diligence and special finance projects.
- Assist in evaluating capital expenditure proposals and investment analysis.
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Work closely with Plant Finance teams and other business functions to ensure financial discipline across the organization.
ERP & Digital Finance
- Work extensively on ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent ERP platforms.
- Ensure proper accounting controls within ERP.
- Recommend and implement process improvements through automation and digitization.
- Support system upgrades and finance transformation initiatives.
Educational Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Experience
- 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in manufacturing, steel, mining, metals, infrastructure, power, or large corporate organizations will be preferred.

Compensation
Compensation shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and internal compensation structure of MSP.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
