Job Summary
VC Green Energy Private Limited is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer – Solar EPC to manage solar project site execution, installation activities, and coordination. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar EPC projects with strong technical and site management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor day-to-day site execution activities for Solar EPC projects.
- Supervise solar PV installation, electrical works, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure work completion as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical documents.
- Monitor material usage, manpower deployment, and site productivity.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
- Prepare site progress reports and update project status.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
- B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Solar EPC project execution.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Solar module installation
- Inverter installation & commissioning
- LT/HT electrical works
- Cable laying and termination
- Earthing and testing activities
- Site coordination and execution
- Good knowledge of electrical standards and safety practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project locations based on requirements.
