MAIN TASKS:
- As a store responsible, ensuring legal compliance e.g., wrt to class A solvent storage, Poison store, Narcotics substances & solvent/chemical handling licenses – timely renewal of all related licenses and staying UpToDate with new guidelines/directives issued from time to time
Performing periodic inventory safety checks & audits

- Store and inventory management
- Receiving and storage of chemicals according to their chemical classes
- Making Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Issuing lab chemicals and consumables
- Implementation & troubleshooting of chemical inventory system (ERP)
- Coordinating with ERP team for any system breakdowns and implementation of new features
- Identifying near “expiry date” chemicals, informing to chemist & sending for disposals based on feedback received
Review of inventory and raising orders for consumables & common chemicals/solvents as needed
- Prepare & implement training programs e.g., handling of controlled substances, disposal of “date-expired” chemicals, deletion of consumed chemical entries from databases etc.
- Conducting induction for new employees
Providing ERP training to lab chemists as end users

- Providing necessary guidance to logistics personnel and storage assistants
Ensuring safety & compliance with local laws & company policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in science, preferably in chemistry, with 5+ years of experience in inventory management & logistics
- Should be fluent in communication
