Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor – Civil to manage project cost estimation, billing, and cost control for residential construction projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge in BOQ preparation, billing, material reconciliation, and cost management with hands-on experience in construction projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for construction projects.
- Perform cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and manage project budgets and cost reports to ensure project profitability.
- Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements, and verification of quantities from drawings.
- Prepare and verify client bills and subcontractor bills.
- Ensure accurate material reconciliation and cost tracking.
- Review Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and verify reinforcement quantities.
- Coordinate with project teams for cost management and procurement planning.
- Handle procurement support, contract verification, and vendor coordination.
- Assist in tender analysis, estimation, and contract documentation.
- Apply value engineering techniques to optimise project cost without affecting quality.
- Identify and manage project risks related to cost and material usage.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, variations, and billing documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
- Good knowledge of BBS calculation and RCC structural quantities
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of tender documents and construction drawings
- Knowledge of material reconciliation and procurement processes
- Good analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Billing, or Cost Management
- Experience in residential construction projects is preferred
- Hands-on experience in construction site measurement and billing activities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
