Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible MEP Store Incharge to manage store operations, inventory control, and material handling for HVAC and other MEP-related projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HVAC materials and spare parts, along with experience in handling MEP inventory, advanced MS Excel, and ERP/store management software.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations & Inventory Management
- Manage day-to-day MEP store operations with primary focus on HVAC materials.
- Maintain inventory of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ducting, piping, insulation, and project consumables.
- Handle inward and outward material entries accurately.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of all MEP materials.
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate purchase requests when required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records using advanced MS Excel and ERP/Store Management Software.
- Generate MIS reports, stock reports, and inventory analysis reports.
- Maintain documentation for GRN, material issue slips, delivery challans, and stock registers.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, and Accounts departments for material planning and documentation.
Coordination & Compliance
- Ensure timely availability of materials for project execution and service activities.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, vendors, and procurement teams.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and proper material stacking within the store.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory procedures and material handling standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC spare parts, ducting, piping, insulation materials, copper pipes, fittings, refrigerants, and HVAC accessories.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) materials.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) – Mandatory
- Experience with ERP / Store Management Software – Mandatory
- Inventory control and stock management skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage store operations independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in an MEP or HVAC store.
- Candidates from HVAC contracting, MEP contracting, or facility management companies will be preferred.
- Strong MIS reporting and inventory management skills.
- Team handling and coordination capability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
