Role Overview
We are seeking a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Consultant to advise corporates, foundations, and organizations on designing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting impactful CSR initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of CSR regulations, project management, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on CSR strategy development and implementation.
- Identify CSR opportunities aligned with business objectives and statutory requirements.
- Design, evaluate, and monitor CSR projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, skill development, sustainability, and community development.
- Conduct CSR due diligence and compliance reviews.
- Prepare CSR policies, annual action plans, impact assessment reports, and board presentations.
- Assist clients in CSR budgeting, fund allocation, and utilization tracking.
- Coordinate with NGOs, implementation partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Develop ESG and sustainability-linked initiatives where applicable.
- Monitor regulatory developments relating to CSR and advise clients accordingly.
- Support preparation of annual CSR disclosures and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- CA / MBA / CS / Master's degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, or related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in CSR consulting, sustainability, ESG, development sector, or corporate CSR functions.
- Strong understanding of CSR provisions under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Experience in project evaluation, impact assessment, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
