Job Summary
The Total Station Surveyor is responsible for carrying out all surveying activities related to road, bridge, and infrastructure projects using Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, and other modern survey equipment. The role includes establishing control points, conducting topographic and construction surveys, setting out works, preparing survey reports, and ensuring accuracy of project alignment and levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, route, and engineering surveys using Total Station and DGPS equipment.
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points.
- Perform setting out for roads, bridges, culverts, buildings, drainage, and other civil works.
- Carry out traversing, leveling, contour surveys, and as-built surveys.
- Verify coordinates, benchmarks, and elevations before execution of work.
- Prepare survey calculations, field notes, and coordinate reports.
- Download, process, and analyze survey data using survey software.
- Prepare survey drawings and coordinate layouts using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Ensure all survey instruments are calibrated and maintained properly.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC, and Site Engineers.
- Identify and rectify survey discrepancies during execution.
- Maintain proper documentation of survey records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IRC, MORTH, and client requirements.
- Follow company HSE policies and safety procedures during field operations
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
