About the Role
SHEMFORD Futuristic School is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Part-Time Music Teacher to conduct engaging music sessions for school students. The ideal candidate should be able to nurture students' interest in music through vocal and/or instrumental training while creating an enjoyable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 2 classes per week, with each class lasting 2 hours (4 periods).
- Teach vocal and/or instrumental music to students across different grades.
- Plan and deliver interactive music lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, competitions, annual functions, and cultural events.
- Encourage creativity, rhythm, and musical appreciation among students.
- Maintain discipline and ensure active student participation during classes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree/diploma/certification in Music or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience in a school will be preferred.
- Proficiency in Indian Classical, Western Music, Keyboard, Guitar, or other musical instruments will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching children.
Schedule
- 2 days per week
- 2 hours per visit (4 periods)
Compensation
- ₹1,000 – ₹1,500 per visit (depending on experience and skill set).
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,500.00 per day
