Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Pump Technician to join our workshop team. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, dismantling, repairing, assembling, and testing of water pumps and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantling and assembling centrifugal, submersible, sewage, and booster pumps.
- Diagnose pump failures and identify required repairs.
- Replace bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, couplings, and other pump components.
- Perform alignment, testing, and trial runs after servicing.
- Maintain service records and workshop cleanliness.
- Coordinate with the stores department for spare parts.
- Ensure work is carried out safely and as per company standards.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in pump servicing or repair.
- Knowledge of electric motors and pumps.
- Ability to use workshop tools and measuring instruments.
- Honest, disciplined, and willing to learn.
