About the Role
Jewel Child Development Centre is looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children experiencing developmental delays, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, and physical disabilities, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
You will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, child-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions based on each child's developmental and physical needs.
- Improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, gait, strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
- Design and implement rehabilitation programs for children with developmental and neurological conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and provide regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in case discussions, training programs, and continuous professional development activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is mandatory.
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge, a passion for pediatric rehabilitation, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with pediatric physiotherapy experience will have an added advantage.
- Registration with the relevant professional council is preferred.
