KAS Mentor is a fast-growing edtech organization focused on academic excellence, media-driven learning, and organizational innovation. We are looking for an HR Manager who can independently drive recruitment, people operations, performance systems, and organizational coordination in a startup environment.
This is not a routine HR role. We are looking for someone who can build systems, ensure accountability, and work closely with leadership to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across academic, marketing, media, operations, and support teams
- Draft and manage job descriptions, hiring trackers, and interview pipelines
- Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding, and follow-ups
- Work with consultancies, job portals, and referral networks for hiring support
HR Operations
- Handle attendance, leave tracking, employee documentation, and reporting systems
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and shift structures
- Maintain HR records and operational coordination processes
- Support employee engagement and workplace discipline initiatives
Performance & Reporting
- Maintain KPI trackers and performance review systems
- Generate HR and operational reports for management review
- Monitor productivity, reporting discipline, attendance trends, and escalations
- Support departments in implementing accountability systems
Process & Organizational Development
- Create and improve SOPs, workflows, trackers, and operational systems
- Support organizational structuring and process optimization
- Coordinate with Academic, Marketing, Media, Sales, Finance and Operations Team
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in HR and operations roles
- Strong recruitment and employee management capability
- Excellent communication and professional drafting skills
- Strong organizational, reporting, and follow-up ability
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational reporting
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Startup, edtech, media, or SME experience preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
