Job Summary
The Maintenance Field Officer – Purchase is responsible for handling field purchases, sourcing maintenance materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely availability of tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and purchase maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Visit suppliers and vendors for quotations, negotiations, and material collection.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team regarding daily material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased items to sites or stores.
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation.
- Compare prices and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor stock availability and inform management about shortages.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Support field maintenance activities when required.
- Follow company procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline (Technical background preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in purchase, procurement, or maintenance field.
- Knowledge of maintenance materials and procurement processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, billing, documentation).
- Valid driving license preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
