Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Security Architect / Engineer to design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud security solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft 365 Security, with experience implementing security controls based on audit findings and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Microsoft security solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Configure and administer Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA/MCAS) to enhance cloud application security.
- Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access policies.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Purview for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, sensitivity labels, and information protection.
- Strengthen Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance posture by implementing security best practices.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to streamline security administration.
- Translate security audit findings into actionable implementation plans and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Compliance teams to improve the organization's overall security posture.
- Monitor security controls, investigate issues, and ensure continuous compliance with organizational policies.
- Prepare security documentation, governance reports, and implementation guidelines.
Required Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in Microsoft Security, Cloud Security, or Cybersecurity.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA/MCAS).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including:
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data Classification
- Sensitivity Labels
- Information Protection
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.
- Understanding of Microsoft Secure Score and security governance best practices.
- Experience implementing enterprise cloud security policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SOC 2 and PCI DSS v4 compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of SaaS Security Governance and Cloud Security best practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and Identity Security.
- Microsoft Security certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, or equivalent are highly preferred.
