Job description
1.Understand customer’s requirements from sales team regarding new product designs & developments.
- Involvement in planning, costing, selection of materials etc
- Preparation of a drawings on software & come up with different options of product designs which can be suitable as per customer’s requirements.
- Analysis of drawing from various angles like weight, thickness, width, shape, load capacity etc.
- Selection of a proper material to develop new product
- End to end coordination with mould makers to develop mould to take production of a finalized product design
- End to end coordination with factory team to take the trial of a new mould & product
- Provide backend administrative support to the sales team, customers, factory people & mould makers
- Work on existing products & moulds to redevelop their quality & further improvements
- Preparation of ISO Documents including inspection reports, mould history reports, feasibility reports etc
- Software knowledge required – AutoCAD Drawing, Unigraphics, 3d modelling etc.
Mandate Points: Preparing innovative designs in software. Coordination with mould maker/ Factory & H.O team. Responsible for trials of Moulds at Factory.
