The Senior Design Lead - Casting plays a pivotal role in overseeing multiple design teams, establishing organizational design standards, and driving innovation in the design process. Key Responsibilities
1. Leverage Casting Expertise To Develop And Optimize Design Solutions Using Cad Software, Ensuring That Products Exhibit User-Friendliness And Align With User Expectations, Thereby Creating Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers In Casting And Product Design, Providing Mentorship And Ensuring The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Align With Overall Business Goals.
3. Present Design Concepts Utilizing Advanced Casting Techniques And Materials, Playing A Crucial Role In Shaping The Overall Design Vision And Strategy.
4. Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Casting And Product Design To Drive Innovation And Excellence In The Design Process.

Job Description:
1. 5-8 years of experience in Marine, Mid or Small Engine design .
2. Provide CAD support for designing and drafting of complex casting components for engine like - Cylinder head , Exhaust manifold, Engine block Cam shaft , Intake manifold , Oil pan , Pump Manifold using Creo-Part modeling, Advanced Part modeling, Surfacing modeling techniques & Creation of Manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge.
3. Provide CAD support for designing and drafting Drivetrain components - housings, gears, shafts, etc. as per Creo-Modeling best Practices.
4. Manufacturing process knowledge for designing and modeling of components using Casting, forging, and machining process knowledge
5. Experience in Creating production drawings of Castings, machining drawings with GD&T.
6. Experience in Skeleton modeling, copy-geometry merge inheritance and reverse engineering
7. Creates Sheet metal parts, Assemblies, and their drawings.
8. Must be Goal oriented with good communication skills.
9. Knowledge in Wind-chill is an added advantage
10. Creo simulate experience is an added advantage
11. Knowledge in designing Large and small Castings
12. Able to do basic mechanical design calculations.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Solidworks Professional (Cswp), Autodesk Certified Professional In Inventor.
2. Relevant Certifications In Design Or Casting Technologies Are Advantageous.
