Key Responsibilities
Lead complete EPC lifecycle: Engineering → Procurement → Execution → Commissioning
Drive project costing, estimation, budget control and quality.
Handle tendering, techno-commercial evaluation & contract negotiation
Oversee site execution, installation & commissioning activities
Review plant layouts & electrical designs (Civil & Electrical, SLD, GA, schematics) & ensure compliance
Manage vendors, contractors, and procurement planning
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants & EPC partners
Lead and mentor project, site & design teams
Ensure on-time delivery, quality, safety.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bhubaneswar for the Head of EPC Projects specializing in Substation, Power Distribution, and Electrical Infrastructure. The responsibilities include overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and ensuring effective project cost and resource management. You will also play a key role in client management and providing technical guidance to the team.
Qualifications
Comprehensive understanding of Substation Projects, Power Distribution, and Electrical Infrastructure
Strong skills in Project Planning, Execution, and Risk Management
Proficiency in Engineering Design, Procurement, and Construction Coordination
Ability to ensure quality assurance, compliance with safety standards, and deliver on deadlines
Experience in Team Leadership and effective Resource Management
Excellent skills in Client Communication, Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Understanding of Project Budgeting and Financial Management
Relevant certifications or training in EPC project management are a plus
An Electrical Engineering degree or related technical qualification is required
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with strong decision-making capabilities
15+ years in EPC / Project Execution
Minimum 5 years in senior leadership role
Experience handling ₹50 Cr+ EPC projects (Including Civil & Electrical)
BE/ B.Tech – Electrical (MBA/PMP preferred)
Pay: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
