Job Description
Kamala Farms is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design and prepare structural drawings for hydroponic farming projects, greenhouse structures, polyhouses, and related agricultural infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have experience in structural design, load calculations, and preparation of technical drawings while ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare structural designs and drawings for:
* Hydroponic farming setups
* Greenhouses and polyhouses
* Industrial and agricultural structures
* Steel and fabrication structures
* Perform structural analysis and load calculations.
* Coordinate with architects, project teams, and site engineers.
* Review project requirements and provide structural solutions.
* Ensure designs comply with safety standards and engineering regulations.
* Visit project sites when required for measurements and inspections.
* Support fabrication and execution teams with technical guidance.
* Modify and update drawings based on project requirements.
* Maintain proper project documentation and drawing records.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in structural design and drafting.
* Experience in industrial, agricultural, or steel structure projects is preferred.
* Proficiency in:
* AutoCAD
* STAAD Pro
* Revit (preferred)
* Structural design software
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of steel structure design and fabrication.
* Ability to prepare BOQs and structural calculations.
* Good understanding of construction standards and safety regulations.
* Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
* Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
