Job description:
We are seeking an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist with a strong track record in optimizing websites for higher search engine rankings, improved organic traffic, and better user engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in on-page optimization techniques, keyword strategy, content optimization, and collaboration with content & development teams. This role focuses primarily on on-page elements while coordinating with broader SEO strategies in a fast-paced digital ad agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research (short-tail, long-tail, and intent-based) using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc., and create keyword mapping strategies.
- Perform comprehensive on-page SEO audits and implement optimizations for meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags (H1-H6), URL structures, internal linking, image alt texts, and schema markup.
- Optimize website content for SEO-friendliness while maintaining readability, E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles, and user intent.
- Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and overall site architecture.
- Collaborate with content writers to provide SEO guidelines and review/optimize blog posts, landing pages, and product pages.
- Analyze competitor websites for on-page gaps and develop strategies to outperform them.
- Work closely with technical SEO and off-page teams for holistic website improvements (e.g., crawl error fixes, site indexing issues).
- Monitor performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), and other tools; track rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversions.
- Prepare detailed monthly/quarterly SEO reports with actionable insights and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates (e.g., Helpful Content, Core Updates) and implement best practices.
- Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously and meet project deadlines in an agency setup.
