Sundrop Power Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and proactive Manager – Tender to lead the end-to-end tendering process for government and public sector projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and submitting tenders through various government procurement portals, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and driving business opportunities in the renewable energy and power sector.
Job Summary
Sundrop Power Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Manager – Government Liaison & Tender Coordination to strengthen the company's engagement with Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities. The role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining strong government relationships, facilitating statutory approvals, coordinating project-related documentation, and supporting government tendering activities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent liaisoning skills, a strong understanding of government procedures, and hands-on experience with public procurement processes in the power, renewable energy, or infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
Government Liaisoning
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and Government Departments, PSUs, DISCOMs, regulatory authorities, and local administrative bodies.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key government stakeholders to support business development and project execution.
- Coordinate with government offices for statutory approvals, licences, registrations, clearances, and project-related permissions.
- Represent the company in meetings, discussions, inspections, and official interactions with government authorities.
- Monitor policy updates, government notifications, and regulatory developments impacting the renewable energy and power sector.
- Facilitate timely resolution of issues requiring government intervention and ensure smooth coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Tender Coordination
- Identify suitable government and PSU business opportunities through GeM, NTPC, nProcure, and other e-procurement portals.
- Coordinate the end-to-end tender process, including collection of documents, bid preparation, submission, and post-bid communication.
- Review tender documents to ensure compliance with technical, commercial, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and project teams for accurate and timely bid submissions.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and manage clarification requests with tendering authorities.
- Maintain records of all tender submissions, bid status, correspondence, and contract documentation.
Project & Commercial Coordination
- Follow up with government departments for work orders, agreements, approvals, billing certifications, and payment releases.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of compliance documents and contractual deliverables.
- Support contract execution by facilitating communication between government agencies and project teams.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports on liaison activities, approvals, tenders, project status, and outstanding payments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8–10 years of experience in Government Liaisoning, Public Procurement, Tender Coordination, or Corporate Affairs.
- Experience working with Government Departments, PSUs, DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong understanding of government administrative processes and statutory compliance.
- Exposure to the renewable energy, solar EPC, electrical, power, or infrastructure industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under strict timelines.
