ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly experienced L4-level Cyber Security Engineer to lead and strengthen the security architecture of our crypto ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving security controls across wallets, exchanges, smart contracts, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems.
This role requires deep expertise in offensive and defensive security practices within crypto environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement end-to-end security architecture for crypto trading platforms and wallet systems.
Secure hot wallets, cold wallets, and multi-signature infrastructure.
Conduct smart contract security audits (Solidity, Web3 environment).
Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red team exercises.
Implement Zero Trust architecture and strong IAM controls.
Monitor and respond to security incidents (SIEM, SOC integration).
Secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with DevSecOps integration.
Ensure compliance with global security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS where applicable).
Manage DDoS protection, API security, WAF, and encryption standards.
Oversee blockchain node security and private key management.
Conduct third-party security audits and vendor risk assessments.
Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery planning.
Mentor L1–L3 security engineers.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Blockchain Protocols: Strong knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Layer 2 solutions.
Smart Contract Security: Expertise in Solidity vulnerabilities, reentrancy attacks, and flash loan attacks.
Crypto Custody: Experience with secure custody solutions.
Cryptography: Deep understanding of PKI, HSM, MPC, and key rotation mechanisms.
SIEM Tools: Proficiency with Splunk, ELK, Sentinel, etc.
Cloud Security: Experience with AWS Security Hub, IAM, Guard Duty, etc.
DevSecOps: Familiarity with SAST, DAST, container security, and Kubernetes security.
Network Security: Knowledge of Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DDoS mitigation.
Incident Response: Experience in incident handling and digital forensics.
Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
