Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Estimation Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical estimation, quantity take-offs, and design support. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge across electrical systems along with exposure to plumbing, HVAC, and fire fighting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for electrical projects based on drawings and specifications
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD) using AutoCAD
- Carry out electrical load calculations for various projects
- Analyze drawings to extract material requirements for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire fighting systems
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for accurate estimation
- Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in estimation and costing
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of:
- Electrical systems and components
- Plumbing systems
- HVAC systems
- Fire fighting systems
- Ability to prepare BOM and material take-offs
- Good understanding of single line diagrams and load calculations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
