A Guest Service Associate (GSA) – Food & Beverage is responsible for serving guests, maintaining service standards, and ensuring a smooth dining experience in the hotel’s restaurant, banquet, or café.
1. Guest Service
- Welcome and greet guests politely
- Take food & beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks as per hotel standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle basic complaint
2. Restaurant Operations
- Set up tables (cutlery, glassware, linen)
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
- Clear tables and reset for next guests
- Assist in buffet or banquet setup
3. Food & Beverage Knowledge
- Explain menu items and make recommendations
- Upsell dishes, combos, or beverages
- Coordinate with kitchen for special requests
4. Hygiene & Safety
- Follow food safety standards (HACCP basics)
- Maintain personal grooming and uniform
- Ensure clean-as-you-go practices
5. Billing & Coordination
- Assist in billing or POS entry (if required)
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely service
- Inform guests about delays or availability
6. Closing Duties
- Clean service stations and equipment
- Restock items
- Complete daily checklists
Qualification & Skills
Minimum:
- 12th pass / Hotel Management diploma (preferred)
- Fresher or 0–1 year experience
Skills:
- Good communication (Hindi + basic English)
- Customer service attitude
- Teamwork & flexibility
- Basic hospitality etiquette
Work Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (morning/evening/night)
- Standing for long hours
- Fast-paced environment (especially during events/banquets)
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
