We are looking for a skilled Palo Alto SME / Network Security Engineer with experience in SASE platforms, Prisma Access, and network security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security policies, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring secure connectivity across enterprise environments.
- Manage and support Palo Alto Prisma Access and SASE environments.
- Support GlobalProtect client rollout and integration with Active Directory and user policies.
- Configure and manage security policies for SaaS applications, data protection, and access control.
- Monitor and troubleshoot DNS security, SSL decryption, and policy enforcement issues.
- Perform threat prevention configuration, monitoring, and security event analysis.
- Manage VPN connectivity, private access tunnels, and hybrid cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Troubleshoot complex network issues including DNS, routing, proxy, and connectivity problems.
- Maintain configuration backups and conduct periodic security reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for network security implementation and improvements.
- Provide recommendations to improve network performance and security posture.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Layer 2 & Layer 3 concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Access, and SASE platforms.
- Experience with DNS Security, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention, and ZTNA.
- Knowledge of VPN, TCP/IP, HTTPS, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and web proxy configurations.
- Understanding of SD-WAN and cloud networking environments is a plus.
- Experience in incident response and ticket management systems.
- Exposure to SSE solutions such as Zscaler or Netskope.
- Knowledge of Prisma Browser, Explicit Proxy, and PAC file configuration.
- Understanding of IT security compliance such as ISO 27001.
- B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Palo Alto: PCCSA / PCNSA / PCNSE
- Cisco: CCNA / CCNP
- Checkpoint: CCSA / CCSE
