Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer
Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing, supervising, and maintaining all electrical systems and infrastructure across the university campus. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, efficient operation of electrical equipment, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and execution of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete electrical operations, maintenance, and service activities across the university campus.
- Manage HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, electrical panels, DG sets, UPS systems, solar systems, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
- Perform regular inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and installations.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to academic blocks, hostels, laboratories, offices, and other campus facilities.
- Plan and execute electrical installation works, modifications, upgrades, and expansion projects.
- Monitor energy consumption, implement energy-saving initiatives, and maintain electrical efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and campus safety policies.
- Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, equipment logs, and documentation.
- Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of electrical issues.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical operations, maintenance, and project handling.
- Experience in handling large-scale institutional, industrial, or commercial electrical infrastructure preferred.
Job Location: Guntur Vaddeswaram
