Job Title : Marine Reliability Engineer
Experience : 8-15 Years
Location : Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines
- Support engine reliability, performance monitoring, and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Manage condition-based monitoring, data analysis, and coordination with OEMs and vendors
- Own maintenance strategies, CMMS job plans, and asset integrity for assigned systems
- Support shipyard planning, technical issue resolution, and incident investigations
- Drive fuel efficiency, low-load operations, GHG reduction, and alternative fuel initiatives
- Lead or support reliability projects and new technology pilots
Requisites:
- Degree in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent seagoing experience
- Prior sailing experience on Oil / LNG tankers
- Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, RCM, CBM, and predictive maintenance
- Familiarity with IMO, Flag State, and Classification Society requirements
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams
