Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with experience in CMS platforms and modern PHP frameworks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with platforms like WordPress and frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony to build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using CMS platforms like WordPress
- Build web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter)
- Create and customize themes and plugins for CMS platforms
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Optimize applications for speed and performance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and project managers
- Ensure security and data protection best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress
- Hands-on experience with at least one PHP framework:
- Laravel
- CodeIgniter
- Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API integratio
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce
- Experience with MVC architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker)
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
