Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to scheduled plans.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate repairs with vendors when required.
- Ensure all medical equipment complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain service records, maintenance logs, calibration certificates, and equipment history.
- Assist in evaluating, testing, and commissioning new medical equipment.
- Provide technical support and user training to clinical and nursing staff.
- Coordinate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC).
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend replacements or upgrades when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and other applicable healthcare regulations.
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Work closely with procurement, clinical departments, and external service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with medical equipment such as:
- Patient monitors
- Ventilators
- Defibrillators
- Infusion and syringe pumps
- ECG machines
- Anesthesia workstations
- ICU equipment
- Laboratory and imaging equipment (preferred)
- Understanding of medical equipment safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
