Job Summary
Expleo is hiring experienced GD&T Engineers for its automotive client, Stellantis. We are looking for professionals with strong expertise in Exterior & Interior Trim Components, Datum Strategy, Tolerance Analysis, GD&T Standards, Stack-Up Studies, and Product Launch Activities.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automotive product development, geometric specifications, supplier convergence, measurement validation, and manufacturing support from design to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and ensure robust datum schemes for assigned vehicle systems and components.
- Establish aesthetic and functional requirements during sourcing activities.
- Converge assembly, manufacturing, and functional requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop and validate GD&T requirements as per product and manufacturing needs.
- Review and approve supplier GD&T reports and inspection plans.
- Perform and validate tolerance stack-up studies (RSS, VSA, etc.).
- Recommend design or tolerance improvements to achieve gap, flush, and functional requirements.
- Define measurement roadmaps and review part inspection methodologies.
- Review and approve gauge and fixture design concepts.
- Analyze measurement data and support statistical process evaluations.
- Support tooling sign-off, PPAP approvals, and tolerance concession agreements.
- Resolve manufacturing, plant, and vehicle build issues during launch activities.
- Capture lessons learned and ensure adherence to design best practices.
Required Skills
- 6–9 years of experience in Automotive GD&T, Dimensional Engineering, or Geometric Integration.
- Hands-on experience with Exterior and Interior Trim Parts.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 / ISO GD&T Standards.
- Proficiency in NX or CATIA.
- Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM Applications.
- Hands-on experience in RSS Stack-Up Analysis.
- Knowledge of Gauge & Fixture Design Concepts.
- Experience with CMM Measurement and part measurement methods.
- Understanding of Plastic Components and Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and measurement data analysis.
- Understanding of automotive Product Development and Launch Processes.
- Strong problem-solving, convergence, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3DCS or Vis VSA.
- Exposure to vehicle integration, gap & flush management, and dimensional validation.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
