Overview:
Location: Hyderabad Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office
The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. This role designs test plans, procedures, and scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in alignment with product requirements and department quality standards. The Test Engineer collaborates across engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications.

Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests and contribute to automated test frameworks to ensure holistic software quality.

Lead the verification of system functionality by executing moderately complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, recording test outcomes, and reporting defects and results in the test repository.

Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, test environments, and security practices.

Perform manual testing responsibilities, including the creation of test cases and test plans aligned with product requirements.

Follow the peer code review process for test automation code, completing reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated tests.

Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production and software issues to ensure the ongoing stability of the application.

3+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, or a related engineering discipline.

BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience with test automation, continuous integration tools, and scripting on Windows and/or Linux platforms.

Demonstrated experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and source control systems.

Experience with test design, regression testing, and Agile frameworks.

Experience with database technology and software application testing methodologies and process frameworks.

Experience working in Windows and/or Linux development environments using open-source tools and platforms.

Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional and collaborative demeanor.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and projects to completion independently.
