Job Summary
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the organization's end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial accounting, GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently within strict deadlines.
Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm will be given preference due to their exposure to multiple clients, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Manage complete end-to-end accounting activities for the organization.
- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and fund utilization.
GST & Taxation
- Prepare, verify, and file GST returns accurately within statutory timelines.
- Reconcile GST input and output with purchase and sales records.
- Ensure proper compliance with GST regulations and resolve reconciliation issues.
- Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS.
- Maintain proper tax documentation and records.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during statutory and tax audits.
- Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Verify vendor invoices and process payments accurately.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate for timely collections.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and business liabilities.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly.
- Reconcile GST, TDS, vendor, customer, and ledger balances.
- Generate monthly MIS reports, profitability reports, and financial analysis for management.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial inspections.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records and company information.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of accuracy in financial data and reporting.
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Improve accounting processes and internal financial controls.
- Support management in financial decision-making through data analysis and reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in GST and TDS return filing.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High speed and accuracy in calculations and financial reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GST portal, Income Tax portal, and online statutory filings.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com or professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end accounting independently.
- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is highly preferred.

- Strong exposure to complete accounting functions and statutory compliances.
- Excellent command over GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
