Business Development Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to support and drive the Supply Chain financing business for Siemens Financial Services (SFS). The role will work closely with SFS Sales teams, Channel Partners, and Siemens business units, to ensure seamless program management, reporting, and business growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and be proficient in MS Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools. The candidate would be required to travel and meet key channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partner Business Management
- Support and drive SFS’ Channel Partner financing programs for partners across Siemens businesses.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to grow financing penetration across channel networks.
Credit Limit Management
- Ensure timely setup, renewal, and availability of credit limits for Channel Partners.
- Coordinate with SFS Sales teams, Channel Partners, Siemens commercial teams, and risk stakeholders to facilitate smooth limit management.
- Track utilization and proactively highlight potential constraints impacting business generation.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and MIS reports for:
- Credit limit availability and utilization
- Business volumes and trends
- New partner onboarding
- Dormant/lost partner relationships
- Portfolio and conversion metrics
- Analyze data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Automate and improve reporting processes wherever possible.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage regularly with SFS Sales teams to track and improve conversion of customer referrals generated through Channel Partners.
- Collaborate with Siemens colleagues across functions to support business initiatives and operational requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Business Growth & Process Improvement
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Support strategic projects aimed at increasing Channel Partner business volumes and customer acquisition.
- Participate in planning and executing business development and partner engagement initiatives.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in Analytics, MIS Reporting, Sales Operations, Financial Services, Business Development, Program Management, or a similar role.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups, Data Analysis, Dashboards).
- Understanding of financial statements and company assessment is preferred.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM and reporting systems will be an advantage.

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to interact confidently with sales teams, business stakeholders, and partners.
