Position Description:
Vertical Head (Agency and Retail Broking) is primarily responsible to supervise the business delivery under agency and retail brokers for a branch.
Key responsibilities:
Ø Drive and achieve monthly topline targets through agency and broking vertical
Ø Ensure diversification of portfolio into motor, non-motor, health products for the location they are managing
Ø Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
Ø Drive recruitment of agents / brokers through team members as per targets set
Ø Coordinate with team to ensure month on month activation of agents / brokers as per targets set
Ø Manage individual targets for agent and broker recruitment, activation and premium if any
Ø Responsible for achieving overall GWP (Gross Written Premium)
Ø Responsible for sustainable profitability
Ø Responsible to maintain COR at budgeted levels
Ø Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
Ø Ensuring IRDAI compliance regarding licensing
Ø Handling a team of relationships managers.
Ø Train team on products, process and USPs of Company
Ø Identify the area of improvement & enhancing business opportunity
Ø Responsible for explorations & identification of new business avenues by way of business leads & networking.
Ø Resolve the discrepancies raised by the Underwriter and issue policies at branch level.
Ø Analysing and resolving the rejections of policy related issues
Professional Experience: 7-10 years; GI Experience in Agency/Retail Broking
