To deliver high-quality instruction in English Language and Literature as per the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum, fostering critical thinking, communication, and global-mindedness among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the IBDP English curriculum.
- Design formative and summative assessments aligned with IB standards and learning objectives.
- Guide students in developing analytical and evaluative skills in reading a variety of texts.
- Support students with their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essay research in English.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and collaborative learning with the department.
- Ensure academic integrity and adherence to IB principles and learner profile attributes.
- Contribute to the school community through co-curricular activities, events, and IB-related programs.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and IB training workshops.
