Job Summary
FIST Engineering Solution is looking for an experienced Senior BIM Modeler – MEP to develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality MEP BIM models for building services projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and BIM project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Model HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP systems based on project requirements.
- Prepare models and drawings in accordance with project standards and BIM requirements.
- Work with LOD 300, 350, 400 and 500 requirements as applicable.
- Perform multidisciplinary coordination with Architecture, Structure, and other MEP disciplines.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and resolve identified clashes.
- Review BIM models for accuracy, constructability, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
- Create and manage Revit MEP families, templates, and project standards.
- Extract drawings, schedules, quantities, and required documentation from BIM models.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Identify modeling and coordination issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Support BIM Coordinators and BIM Managers in implementing BIM standards and workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior BIM Modelers and support the team in meeting project deliverables.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems.
- Strong experience in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Experience in Revit Family Creation and Family Management.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, construction practices, and detailing.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to independently handle modeling and coordination tasks.
- Experience working on GCC/Middle East or Australian projects is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
