About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the organization's network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, connectivity, and security of the company's network environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
- Configure and manage enterprise networking equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar technologies.
- Manage firewall rules, VPN access, and network security policies.
- Perform network installations, upgrades, configurations, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor network infrastructure using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Maintain network documentation, network diagrams, configurations, and asset records.
- Handle network incidents and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
- Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal IT teams for network-related requirements and issues.
- Implement network backup and disaster-recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, VPN, Routing & Switching.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
- Experience with firewall technologies and network security.
- Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux networking.
- Experience with network monitoring tools is an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred.
- ITIL knowledge/certification will be an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in network administration, routing & switching, firewall management, VPN, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and network troubleshooting. Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
