Job Summary
We are hiring a Purchase Engineer for a leading machine-building manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement of engineering components, vendor management, and ERP-based purchase processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Source and procure engineering components as per production requirements.
- Handle procurement of Laser Cutting, Machining, Fabrication, Castings, Forgings, and Bought-Out Items.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Engineering departments.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and reports in ERP systems.
- Monitor purchase costs and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in the Purchase Department.
- Experience in the machine-building industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering components and procurement processes.
- Good negotiation, communication, and vendor-handling skills.
