About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CSR fundraising professional with a strong corporate network and a proven ability to secure CSR partnerships and institutional funding.
As the Manager – CSR Fundraising, you will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, building relationships with corporate decision-makers, and driving end-to-end fundraising efforts across CSR, corporate philanthropy, and employee volunteering initiatives. The role requires a professional who understands the CSR ecosystem, has strong corporate connects, and can convert opportunities into long-term partnerships that create meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive corporate fundraising initiatives by identifying, approaching, and securing CSR funding opportunities from corporates, foundations, family offices, and institutional donors.
- Research and map prospective funding partners based on CSR mandates, thematic priorities, geographic focus, and giving strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through market research, networking, referrals, industry forums, and strategic outreach.
- Initiate and lead engagement with CXOs, CSR Heads, ESG leaders, Corporate Affairs teams, HR leaders, and other key decision-makers to develop funding partnerships.
- Understand corporate CSR priorities and design tailored fundraising approaches, CSR interventions, corporate volunteering programmes, and donor advisory solutions aligned with their objectives.
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, concept notes, budgets, and partnership pitches that effectively communicate impact and value.
- Lead discussions, commercial negotiations, and partnership closures while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new corporate partners.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing corporate donors by identifying opportunities for renewed funding, multi-year collaborations, and strategic engagement.
- Represent Sewa Bridge at CSR forums, conferences, networking events, and industry platforms to enhance visibility and cultivate new fundraising opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal consulting and programme teams to translate donor requirements into impactful CSR programmes and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor CSR trends, regulatory developments, and corporate giving patterns to identify emerging fundraising opportunities.
- Maintain accurate fundraising forecasts, partnership pipelines, revenue targets, and performance reports for leadership review.
Experience & Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in CSR Fundraising, Corporate Fundraising, Corporate Relations, Business Development, Donor Advisory, Institutional Partnerships, or CSR Consulting.
- Demonstrated success in securing CSR funding and developing long-term corporate partnerships.
- Strong existing network with CSR Heads, Corporate Affairs teams, ESG leaders, business leaders, foundations, and institutional donors.
- Proven experience in proposal development, fundraising pitches, stakeholder engagement, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship management skills.
