We are looking for mechanical engineers with a passion for marine systems and vessel construction to join our Naval Architecture and Boat Building division. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, integration, and development of marine systems alongside naval architects and shipbuilding professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and integration of mechanical systems for boats and offshore structures.
- Support hull structure fabrication, piping, propulsion system layouts.
- Create and review 2D/3D CAD drawings and equipment layouts.
- Participate in dry dock inspections, system testing, and sea trials.
- Coordinate with vendors and shipbuilding teams for material selection and equipment installation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 0–2 years (internship/project experience in marine/mechanical design is a plus).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar design tools.
- Good understanding of mechanical fundamentals, fluid systems, and structural elements.
- Eagerness to learn marine standards (IMO, IRS, DNV) and shipboard systems.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Willing to travel.
Experience
- AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
- SolidWorks: 1 year (Required)
