Job Summary
Hotel Agnija is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to manage kitchen operations, prepare high-quality food, maintain hygiene standards, and deliver an excellent dining experience for guests. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, and supervising kitchen staff. (Indeed)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present Indian, Continental, and local Rajasthani dishes.
- Plan menus and introduce new recipes and seasonal specials.
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Monitor inventory and place orders for kitchen supplies.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Coordinate with restaurant and banquet teams for guest requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Handle guest dietary requests and special meal requirements. (Indeed)
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel or restaurant.
- Knowledge of Indian, Tandoor, and Continental cuisine.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of food costing and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure and during peak operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. (Indeed)
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
- Experience in hotel buffet and banquet operations.
