Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process tenant rent payments, manage vendor invoices, and track cash flow.
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Create journal entries, maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, and reconcile bank accounts.
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Compare budgeted figures to actual operating expenses and investigate large variances.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with local real estate regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, while supporting internal and external audits. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or professional certification like a CPA or Chartered Accountant). [1, 2]
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of real estate operations, lease agreements, and standard accounting principles (GAAP or local statutory norms). [1, 2]
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and specialized accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Yardi, or MRI. [1, 2]
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail for handling complex property transactions, CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, and cash flow
Pay: ₹9,585.02 - ₹51,936.15 per month
